Top Shelf Tower

Our third project in the Homesteads, this build features a heavy steel package with cantilevered beams and a roof peaking at 62 feet.

A tower of splayed timber legs cross-braced and bolted through steel plates, standing on bare rock, with steel beams and timber rafters cantilevering out in a fan across the top.

Top Shelf Tower is our third project in the Homesteads, and it’s one of the more structurally involved builds we’ve taken on there. The design calls for an extreme amount of steel, with cantilevered beams carrying the framing out past the foundation line. The roof peaks out at 62 feet, giving the structure real height to work with as it goes up.

We were glad to be awarded this one given the scope involved. More photos and updates to come as the project progresses.
